Office of Civil Rights Compliance
Welcome to Middle Tennessee State University’s Office of Civil Rights Compliance (CRC). We fully embrace, value and respect the backgrounds, cultures, and identities of our students, faculty, staff, visitors and all who partner or do business with us. CRC Goals are to:
- Provide oversight of federal and state laws related to discrimination and harassment (Title VI, Title IX, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and the ADA)
- Foster a welcoming, engaging and inclusive environment through the recruitment and retention of students, faculty and staff that reflects Tennessee, the nation and the global community
- Provide data that informs university decision-making.
- Assess/Monitor institutional progress on civil rights.
- Serve as a resource, advisor and liaison to campus officials, colleges, departments and committees
